This action allows you to automatically update your WordPress version every time a new update is released.

After selecting my website -> WordPress Tab -> Automatic Update to WordPress -> Click the button to switch from OFF to ON

After logging into the uPress Hosting Panel -> Click on My Websites -> Click on your new domain -> Click on the Install WordPress Green Button.

After WordPress is installed you must finish the configuration by clicking on your new domain -> Select your WordPress language click on Continue -> Finally, fill in all required information then click on the Install WordPress button.

Success – WordPress is installed!

This action allows you to manually update your version of the WordPress core.

Log into your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page -> Click on My Websites -> Choose your website -> Click on WordPress Tab,

Find WordPress Version and click on the Manage WordPress version button -> You can see the current WordPress version.

Click on the Install Button across from Install latest WordPress Core -> Click on the OK button on the pop up window -> Click on the Refresh Button to verify that WordPress was Updated.

There you have it – your WordPress Core is successfully updated.

This action allows our Staff to migrate your WordPress website from your previous server to your new uPress hosting package.

Log onto your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page -> Click on My Websites -> Click on your new domain -> Click on migrate WordPress installation from another server tab,

To start, Click on Start Process Button -> Fill in your previous hosting provider information -> Login URL, Username and Password -> Click on Next,
Fill in your WordPress Access details -> Wp-admin login URL, Username and Password -> Click on Next,
If needed, you can send uPress a request.

That’s all it takes. uPress will send you progress notifications by email.

To check on the Migration Progress, go to Home Page, click on My Websites, click on your new domain. You have arrived at your Website Migration Progress information.

The request will be processed within a business day.

This action Allows you access to your website even if your primary domain is not yet connected to a uPress servers.

Log into your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page -> Click on My Websites -> Choose the website -> Click on Create Temporary Domain button. (This may take a couple of minutes)

When the process is complete you will receive a temporary address for your website -> Click on the temporary name to access your website.

When you want to Delete the temporary domain -> Click on Settings Tab -> Go to Temporary Domain and click on Remove.

This action allows you to create a manual backup and restore files or database.

Log onto your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page -> Click on My Websites -> Choose the website you want to backup and restore -> Click on Backups Tab -> Click on Manage Manual Backups button.

To create a new backup -> Click on the Create Backup green button. (You can hover of the WordPress icon to see further data)

How to restore the completed backup:

Click on the Restore blue button -> Click on Customised Restore Options -> Under Restore Files you have 3 options:

• The first allows you to restore all files from backup
• The second option gives you a drop down panel where you can choose to restore a file or folder.
• The third option is to restore only your database. (Select ‘Do Not Restore Files then choose the database you want restored)

After selecting your option -> Click on the Restore Seleted Items green button.

After the Restore Request has been sent to our servers and the process completed, you will receive a confirmation email.

This allows you to change the domain name of your WordPress website.

Log into your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page -> Click on My Wesites -> Choose the domain you want to change -> Click on Settings Tab -> Click on the domain listedto the right of Rename Domain.

On the pop-up panel, type in the new name -> Click on the Rename Button.

There you have it – your domain name change is completed.

The uPress Stage Area Sandbox Tool lets you make changes while your website is online

Log onto your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page.

Click on MY WEBSITES -> Choose the website -> Development tab -> Click on Manage Development Environment button -> Click on the Create Development Environmentgreen button

You have now created a unique URL for your Sandbox Environment

First, import content from the production website

From the pop down panel you can choose to:

• import content from your current website
• Import content from a different domain connected to your account
• Import from your backup

After importing, data is stored in the Sandbox Staging Area, without fear of damaging your production website.

To work on your Sandbox

Click on the Manage button

After completing changes you are ready to export the content.

On the Export content pop down panel you have options to:

Copy database and/or copy files

Your live production website is safety updated with your new content.
