This option allows you to add and manage blocked IP Addresses.

Login to your uPress Hosting Panel Home Page

Select ‘MY WEBSITES”

Click on the Domain

Click on ‘Security’ tab

Scroll down to ‘Blocked IP Addresses’

Click on the ‘Manage Blocked IP Addresses’ button

Type in the IP address you want to block.

Click on ‘Add Block’

At any time you can remove any IP address that was previously blocked

The REST API interface of WordPress provides endpoints for WordPress data types that allow developers to interact with the site remotely by sending and receiving JSON objects.

For security purposes, our default option is to turn off the connection protocol to prevent foreign parties from attempting to abuse it. If necessary, this can be activated with one click on our management panel under the Tab Security > And selecting Enable REST API Usage .

This protocol also allows DDoS attacks and BruteForce attacks and is therefore disabled by default.

It can be activated, if you need to use a software or plug-in that requires this protocol.
